First Impression of QuickSwirls

Quickswirl swivels provide advantages for anglers seeking quick lure changes and continuously strong connections to fish. The rounded edges compliment its small size decreasing snags or hang ups in grass and shell; while the design allows for quick lure attachment and removal. Wadefishermen experience some of the most wet, cold, and slimy conditions on a daily basis, especially when wading in wintertime. Such rigorous conditions are where snap swivels and knot tying become tedious. Quickswirl shines with its no-brainer spin on and spin off design.

Reviewing QuickSwirl

After over six months of using Quickswirl Connectors. I can say I am rather impressed with how well the swivels have held up.

BENEFITS
First off, when I first got my hands on the swivels I tied one onto my braided line and noticed how easy it was to switch lures. I never did have a problem with tying a loop knot to all of my lures, but I really took a liking to quickswirl swivels in the coldest months of winter when it felt too cold to tinker with knots.

MONTHS OF USE
Months later, I still had the same swivel on. I never had to change to a different swivel. It was suprising to know how well the swivel held up fishing areas with sharp shell. Not to mention, the swivel held up to the teeth of trout and the big pulls of bruiser redfish.

IN GRASS
In addition, I will say that using any swivel, or big knot for that matter, will catch grass. There are very items that will slide through a ball of grass without hanging up. I have found, however, that Quickswirl's swivels are rather small and tend to hang grass less often than other swivels on the market.

DOWNSIDES
I have found only two occurances thus far that have made me understand that the swivel is not a "miracle". I by no means want to state that this swivel is the best thing known to man. I am simply stating how well and why I like this product.

On one outing, we were fishing corkys for big fish using the swivels and I noticed one spin off somehow on the retrieve back. Perhaps it was slipping off when my partner casted...who knows. Secondly, as I previously stated above, I kept the same swivel on for several months without using a new one. On a cast I noticed my lure shoot off and the swivel had snapped...but like I said, it was months of continued use in saltwater with the same connector...months of continued casts, saltwater, fish, shell, and weather elements.

Give them a try and you may too prefer it over tying knots. www.Quickswirl.com
