About Capt. Kyle Tomek

Kyle Tomek is an avid saltwater angler, licensed U.S.C.G. captain, fishing guide, and outdoor writer.

Tomek regularly contributes articles to: Texas Fish & Game, Texas Saltwater Fishing Magazine (Gulf Coast Connections), Gulf Coast Fisherman Magazine, Lone Star Outdoor News, & Matagorda Advocate.

Capt. Kyle Tomek is passionate about the outdoors. Through outdoor writing and guiding, Tomek has even been featured on ESPN II's Bass Tech.

While attending Texas State University, he and three others established the very first TSU Coastal Conservation Association Chapter. While serving as a board member for the chapter, Tomek and Matt Richter kicked off "Texas State Outdoors", the university's first outdoor radio show.

Currently, Kyle Tomek has his eyes set on A&M university and spends his time guiding fishing trips in Matagorda and writing to afford this goal.
